Job Summary:

This position is responsible for counting and tracking inventory, assisting in purchasing of ingredients and supplies as needed. The Logistics Coordinator will maintain the inventory database and provide reports as needed by management. This position plays a vital role for the Logistics team and supports all areas of the Logistic department.

 

Wage Range: $43,000 - $48,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and maintain production & inventory reports.
  • Some plant purchasing & tracking of incoming ingredients and packaging.
  • Create reports as requested by management team
  • Process daily production information and distribute reports.
  • Weekly Ingredient loss/yield, downtime and other production reports as needed.
  • Weekly co-pack billing
  • Post Batching and distribution of necessary batching reports.
  • Perform accounting closing duties/ Month end processes.
  • Maintain and update Inventory database with weekly file updates.
  • Process inventory adjustments.
  • Maintain inventory cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
  • Document workflow, procedures, and checklists for assigned tasks
  • Confirm and abide by all internal procedures, policies and regulatory guidance
  • Process and maintain New Product Definitions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.
  • Support Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalency with 2 years data and inventory tracking experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Individual is a detail oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects concurrently, set priorities and follows through.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong PC skills a must; experience working with an integrated accounting system and MS Office Products.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
