    Job Summary:

                Service, maintain and repair  Johanna Foods, Inc. waste water treatment plant including pumps, surface aerators, belt press, tanks, air compressor, blowers, piping and electrical systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Observe equipment / machinery to assess problems and malfunctions.
    • Troubleshoot/analyze problem / malfunction to insure proper operation.
    • Perform routine test for operation of equipment.
    • Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on all equipment  and building structures
    • Read and complete work orders, paperwork, specification books, schematics and manuals.
    • Interfaces with supervisors and operators to solicit information about problems, and performance issues.
    • Maintain a clean and well organized work area that promotes safety and efficiency.
    • Adherence to company established safety standards, company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable quality system standards and security programs in support of essential manufacturing strategies and practices.
    • Ability to attain industrial wastewater treatment license (N1)

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent. (required)
    • Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic.
    • Good record-keeping skills
    • Perform manual work and have mechanical skill
    • Ability to work equally well with others as well as alone.
    • Basic electrical knowledge
    • Basic welding skills
